UG Strategies, a multi-platform entertainment marketing firm, has acquired Magnum PR, a New York-based publicity, events, and artist development agency founded by Sioux Zimmerman (a.k.a SiouxZ). Effective immediately, Zimmerman will serve as UG Strategies’ SVP of the new publicity and media relations division
Launched in 2003, UGS clients span music, film, television, fashion, technology, and consumer products. According to its website, the firm’s clientele includes record labels (Astralwerks, Atlantic, Universal, Epic), music festivals (Bonnaroo, EDC, Governor’s Ball), consumer brands (Armani Exchange, Citi, Nintendo), film & television (“Family Guy,” “Glee,” HBO, Weinstein Company) and much more.
For two decades Magnum PR has built up an impressive international roster working with clients that have included: Nine Inch Nails, Portishead, Calvin Harris, DJ Shadow, Marilyn Manson, Avicii, The Prodigy, The Damned, Axwell^Ingrosso, Underworld, Orbital, Daft Punk, Moby, The Chemical Brothers, Yoko Ono, The Glitch Mob, Brian Jonestown Massacre and Pretty Lights.
