Guitar Center Partners with Winter Music Conference and Miami Music Week
Guitar Center, the world’s largest musical instrument retailer, is making waves with its latest partnership. For the first time, Guitar Center is teaming up with the 2020 Winter Music Conference (WMC) and Miami Music Week (MMW). This exciting collaboration brings a series of innovative events and experiences to the electronic music scene.
Introducing the Signature Popup Store
The 35th Annual Winter Music Conference, taking place from March 16-19 in Miami’s Faena District Resort, promises exciting opportunities for music enthusiasts. In conjunction with this, Guitar Center will unveil a signature popup store at the Faena Forum. Here, attendees will have the chance to explore, demo, and purchase the latest DJ equipment from leading brands such as Pioneer, Roland, Korg, Native Instruments, and Denon.
Furthermore, this popup store will mark the first opportunity for fans to buy the new DJ and production gear announced at The NAMM Show earlier in January. Additionally, WMC badge holders will enjoy exclusive early access to the store before it opens to the general public. This early access provides a unique chance to experience the newest products before anyone else.
Exclusive Events at Miami Music Week
In addition to WMC, Guitar Center will partner with the 10th Annual Miami Music Week. This year, MMW introduces the Oasis at the Miami Generator. From March 16-20, the Oasis will host pool parties, label showcases, artist gifting lounges, workshops, and more. WMC badge holders and invited guests will enjoy these exclusive events and experiences.
A Commitment to Music and Technology
Jeannine Davis D’Addario, Guitar Center’s Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, expresses her enthusiasm for this partnership. “We are thrilled to debut top DJ music production equipment and software at both events,” she says. Guitar Center aims to offer unparalleled access to cutting-edge gear for electronic music artists and fans.
Similarly, David Ireland, Executive Director for Winter Music Conference, shares his excitement about the collaboration. “This partnership will provide a unique experience by showcasing the latest DJ and production gear. Additionally, it will offer exciting educational programming,” he notes. This collaboration promises to enhance both events with innovative gear and valuable learning opportunities.
Local Support with Equipment Rentals
Guitar Center is also expanding its services in South Florida. The company will offer local DJ equipment and lighting rentals from its Hallandale Beach and South Miami locations. This service is perfect for venues, promoters, and artists needing high-quality gear for their events.
Streamlined Event Management
To enhance the attendee experience, Guitar Center has partnered with See Tickets. This global ticketing leader will handle RSVP and ticketing for GC’s events. UG Strategies, a North American entertainment marketing and PR firm, will manage all experiential activations, artist relations, and publicity.
