Exploring the Future of Streaming Music with Uphoric TV
Music fans are about to get a groundbreaking view of the global music festival scene. Uphoric TV, launched by the New York-based UG Strategies, aims to transform streaming music. This network, dedicated to showcasing music festivals worldwide, is set to redefine how we experience live music.

A New Era in Music Coverage

Uphoric TV is making waves by partnering with Verizon’s Go90, and it will expand to other digital content platforms soon. CEO Parag Bhandari likens the vision to ESPN’s dominance in sports. He explains, “We’ve been working with festivals for years and began collecting content two years ago.”

Spotlight on Festivals

The network’s debut features popular festivals like Bonnaroo and the Music City Food+Wine Festival. For instance, at the Music City Food+Wine Festival, Uphoric TV highlighted Kings of Leon and explored Nashville’s vibrant food scene. Additionally, global festivals such as CMJ, TBD Fest, and the Oasis Festival in Marrakech will also be featured.

Diverse Programming

Uphoric TV offers a variety of programming to engage viewers. “Industry Profile” shines a light on key figures in the festival industry, including publicists, bookers, and production designers. Meanwhile, “Locals Only” focuses on local bands from festival cities.

“On The Road” follows bands like The Struts as they tour between festivals in the UK. Another exciting program, “All Access,” provides longer-form artist interviews with unique twists, such as exploring local food cultures with bands.

Availability and Expansion

Initially, programming will be available in the U.S. via Go90. However, Uphoric TV plans to broaden its reach with additional domestic and international distributors in the coming months. Bhandari emphasizes the importance of aligning with modern viewing habits. “The social television, mobile television, Hulu/Netflix model is where we feel the demographic is headed,” he says.

Stay tuned as Uphoric TV sets a new standard in streaming music and offers fans an immersive festival experience.
